Banana Sushi

A wonderful after-school snack or treat. Serve up banana sushi that is made with peanut butter, strawberry preserves, bananas, flour tortillas and topped with an assortment of tasty toppings.

Ingredients:
For banana sushi:
● 1/2 cup Food Club Creamy Peanut Butter, divided
● 1/4 cup Food Club Strawberry Preserves
● 4 8-inch Food Club Flour Tortillas
● 4 bananas, peeled
For topping:
● Shredded toasted coconut
● Food Club Dry Roasted Peanuts, chopped
● Rainbow Sprinkles
● Food Club Mini Chocolate Chips
● Food Club Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Method:

  1. Spread 1/4 cup peanut butter in a thin layer on one side of each tortilla. Repeat with
    preserves.
  2. Top each tortilla with a banana and roll into “sushi.”
  3. Heat remaining peanut butter in the microwave for 15-30 seconds, or until pourable in
    consistency. Brush a thin layer of warm peanut butter on the outside of each roll and coat
    evenly with coconut, peanuts, sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips as desired.
  4. Heat chocolate hazelnut spread in the microwave for 15-30 seconds and drizzle over rolls.
  5. Slice and serve immediately.
